It started in the Rockies…
In June 2017, I had the opportunity to experience Canada’s crown jewel national parks: Banff and Jasper.
Something about those towering mountains and turquoise blue lakes changed my perspective.
When I returned to NYC, the first thing I did was buy my first camera…

Photographing NYC
Once I had my hands on a camera, my entire life revolved around photography.
Early morning sunrises, late night city lights - I was hooked on the thrill of capturing photos everywhere in the city, especially cityscapes and the subway system.
I also connected with the incredibly diverse and talented NYC photography community, from whom I’ve learned so much about the technical aspects of the craft.

A Chance Proposal Opportunity
In 2021, I received a message from somebody who saw one of my photos in an NYC Photography Facebook group. He asked if I shot proposals.
It wasn’t something I’ve done before, nor had it ever crossed my mind.
I had no formal discovery process, wasn’t sure what to charge, nor was I really sure how any of this worked, but I accepted the challenge.
Atop an unusually empty Rockefeller Center (during Covid), I learned to blend my love for photographing the city with the joy of one of life’s biggest milestones - getting engaged!
The Moments Ahead
Nowadays, my photography energy is focused on engagement, couples’, and (mostly) proposal shoots.
My favorite part of proposal photoshoots is the detailed planning that brings each client’s vision to life. Seeing it all come together in a perfect moment is incredibly rewarding.
If you’re interested in scheduling a shoot, I’d love to hear from you!
